Gradually moved upward into the educated area, but only after centuries. It was centuries before it actually became an educational factor, in Greece. So it had been around, say, from the eighth, or seventh or eighth century, and it began to perform a little bit in the sixth and then it had its big day in the fifth century B.C. But that’s twenty-five hundred years ago it began to flower.
